Lads and Laddies, kicking off the third inaugural Premier League Table Prediction Pool. The rules are simple: everyone submit their prediction for the premier league table this year (and a few other awards) for your chance at glory, riches, and ability to lord over everyone else from your superior ball knowledge.
Stop me if you've heard this before but my new season's resolution is providing an update every international break (except the first one that's after like one month fuck that one). (Harassing / reminding me for updates is encouraged though some might even say appreciated.)
To enter, submit this form and Venmo me $25 (@neilmccarter) by Friday 3:00pm ET Sept 4th. YES, that means you can watch this weekend’s matches (Game Week 2) before submitting. But there is a hard cutoff before GW3 matches start, which is 3pm ET Friday Sept 4th.
Scoring:
You accumulate points for how far off each team is from your prediction. I.e., when Gooners say Arsenal will finish 1st but but get back to their natural state of choking and finish second, that’s one point. When I say Le Chels will finish 2nd and end up at 8th that’s 6 points. The sum of your points is your score, and lowest score wins.
Prizes:
- First place will receive 60% of the pot
- 2nd place will get 20%
- Correct Golden Boot Excluding Haaland predictions will receive 10% (RIP Salah)
- First manager to get sacked prediction will receive 10%
